My job description is somewhere between guest researcher and artist in residence, which gives me the freedom to work on personal research interests.
I will be giving a presentation in the Posthumanism panel at ISEA 2009 in Belfast end the month. I will be talking about my research/art my current designresearch.
September 2009New publications featuring some of my projects are coming up...."Smart Surfaces" is a book investigating how architects and designers explores intelligent relationships between space and surfaces. The :output award book no. 12 is expected to be published sometime in autumn.
And I will finally return to my beloved city Berlin in September! All sorts of friendly contacts for e.g. exchanging ideas, collaborations, job offers, dinner invites, event tips from lovely locals are highly appreciated. Yes, I ♥ Tokyo, but also can't wait to be back.
October 2009It does look good for a limited edition of Chrono-Shredders. Although in the very early stages of engineering, a release is planned for autumn this year.
Tunnel 228 a hugely successful art exhibtion and theatre experience, curated by PunchDrunk and Kevin Spacey took place in May-June 2009.
